Education/Training Spec I

Brooke joined the Office of Teaching and Technology in 2026 to assist with coordinating online professional development courses and registration. New to Florida, she earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education and completed coursework in Educational Administration at Indiana State University, but will soon be a Gator after earning her Certificate in Horticultural Therapy through UF.

Brooke began her career teaching middle school orchestra—an experience that taught them a great deal about creativity, flexibility, and the importance of meeting people where they are. She is especially interested in the intersection of education, accessibility, and mental health and enjoys finding creative ways to remove barriers, solve problems, and make learning fun. 

Outside the office, you can usually find her 3D printing something new, volunteering with the UF Therapeutic Horticulture Program, or spending time with their partner and small household zoo.
